Started in February 2004, RedLine
Tools was launched as the private label brand of Productivity Inc, the largest distributor
of machine tools and tooling and accessories in the Midwest.
While redefining “affordability”
of American made tooling and accessories products, the chief focus for RedLine was
on offering quality carbide tooling solutions to customers nationwide. Later the
product lines expanded to ultimately include endmills, threadmills, micro-tools,
drills, taps, reamers, burs and more recently toolholders.
October 2005 saw the
introduction of the RedLine Tools visually stunning and beautifully designed print
catalog, featuring the innovative Scan & Go Online ordering system. Customers
of the print catalog line, when enrolled in the program, can use a handheld scanning
device to enter product item information and quantities. It speeds up the ordering
process and removes the likelihood of errors introduced by keying in an entry.
